9 August, XStitch made our 1st public appearance at a successful Women’s Day event at Desire of All Nations church.
A short introduction by Debbie Hiebner and the viewing of the video was widely accepted by the 600+ audience.
We displayed all our items made thus far by only 11 volunteers. Our XStitch blanket hung as a backdrop behind the display tables. Forty four people filled in volunteer forms – we were in awe of the overwhelming response at our 1st public event.
